  • Family Village

    • A global community that integrates information, resources, and communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with mental retardation and other disabilities, their families, and those that provide them services and support.
       

  • National  Association for Down Syndrome (NADS)

    • A not-for-profit organization, founded in Chicago in 1961 by parents of children with Down Syndrome who felt a need to create a better environment and bring about understanding and acceptance of people with Down Syndrome.
       

  • Northern Virginia Parents of Children with Down Syndrome

    • Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia (DSANV) is an all-volunteer network of parents. We organize playgroups for new parents, maintain a listserv where parents can post questions and information, and host an annual picnic and holiday party, as well as other informational and social events. More than 400 families are affiliated with DSANV in Northern Virginia.
       

  • Riverbend Down Syndrome Parent Group
     

    • A non-profit support group of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis, provides support and information to parents of children with Down Syndrome in Southwestern Illinois. Our aim is to support each other and enrich the lives of our children so they may reach their fullest potential.
